Dynaprene® TPE

Why Choose Dynaprene® VE  ? ? ?

# Dynaprene VE rubber is a dynamically vulcanized thermoplastic elastomer (TPV).

# Dynaprene VE rubber consists of finely divided crosslinked rubber particles (EPDM) in a continuous matrix of thermoplastic (PP).  It thus enjoys both the processability of thermoplastics and the performance of conventional thermoset rubbers.

# Dynaprene VE rubber can be easily processed like plastics.  It delivers savings through a comparatively more efficient and effective method of processing than conventional rubber, resulting in shorter work cycle time, and man hours.

Injection molding -- Thermo-pressure molding is replaced.  With Dynaprene VE, the molding process is done without the usual time consuming and cumbersome pre-process and post-process procedures and problems that are usually associated with thermoset rubber processing like slide cutting, weighing, de-flushing, mold sticking problems and waste treatment problems.

Direct extrusion --   Pre-compounding before processing is no longer necessary.  Compared to thermoset rubber, the extrusion rate of Dynaprene VE is much faster.

In line recycle --      Material loss and waste-treatment are going to be a thing of the past with Dynaprene VE.

Recyclable --           More environmentally friendly

# Dynaprene VE has vulcanized rubber inside, so it exhibits higher elastic recovery property, lower compression set, higher thermal stability, excellent sealing property, good weatherability, appears and feels similar to most conventional vulcanized rubbers and are superior to most TPE compounds (TPE-S , TPO ...).

# Dynaprene VE possesses the same oil and chemical resistance properties as  polychloroprene (Neoprene)

# Dynaprene VE possesses the same ozone and UV resistance as vulcanized EPDM.

# Dynaprene VE can be over-molded with co-injection .

# Dynaprene VE has various advantages.  It is light weight (with a specific gravity of 0.94 to 0.97) and has a wide service temperature range (from -60 to 135 deg. C), wide hardness range (from 35 Shore A to 50 Shore D), high colorability, easy processability, fast cycle time, recyclability, among others, providing customers with more design flexibility and cost savings.
