SELECTION GUIDE of NANTEX® LATEX

Dipped gloves application

The world continues to discover and find ways to contain the growing protein allergy problems associated with the use of natural latex and gloves.  From Nantex comes an option of using protein-free, fully synthetic, nitrile latex suitable for dipping gloves.

For the purpose of dipping thin examination gloves, there are four (4) Nantex nitrile latex grades from which you can make your choice.

   Nantex 630A, Nantex 630C, Nantex 6350,6351

Due to their medium range acrylonitrile content, Nantex 630A and Nantex 630C are suitable not only for dipping examination gloves, but for light-duty industrial gloves as well. They may also find applications in supported and flock-lined thick gloves.  Of note here is that our Nantex 6350 and 6351 are especially made for cleanroom gloves.

For supported gloves or thick flock-lined gloves, there are three (3) grades from which you can make your choice.

    Nantex 630S, 630N, 640D

Nantex 630S finds application in dipping cotton-supported gloves whereas 630N would be best for dipping nylon-supported   gloves.  With properly adjusted viscosities to prevent  penetration into gloves, these two (2) latexes are suitable for these types of light industrial gloves.  For improved chemical and solvent resistance, a higher acrylonitrile content-nitrile latex grade suchas Nantex 640D, may be suitable. Most    suitable for dipping unsupported thick gloves, Nantex 640D also finds application in dipping household and heavy-duty industrial gloves.

Coated paper and paperboard application

For art paper and paperboard coating, there are a number of Nantex carboxylated SBR latex grades available.  Depending on whether your preference is leaning towards wet and dry pick, or gloss, or printability, you can choose from among the following grades:

Nantex 251, Nantex 257Ax4, Nantex 257C,

Nantex 257K,  Nantex 257N

There are differences among these grades.

Nantex 257H is suitable for high-speed coating.  Nantex 267A offers you high coating strength.  For blister packs, Nantex 256C would be most suitable.

Non-woven application

For improved binding strength through saturation in non-woven fabrics and  artificial leathers, Nantex has developed three (3) entirely different latex  grades with different compositions.

Nantex 639A is carboxylated NBR latex.

Nantex 758Q is carboxylated MBR latex.

Nantex 238H is carboxylated SBR latex.

The differences in their composition bring about different properties and hand feel in the finished products.

Nantex 639A is highly recommended when soft and natural feeling in non-woven fabrics and artificial leather is an important criteria. Nantex 758Q gives the fabrics a bit of stiffness.  If high stiffness is an important criteria, Nantex 238H is your product. Whatever it is, our latexes will enhance the quality of your non-woven fabrics and artificial leather.

 Carpet application

We have two (2) carboxylated SBR latex grades right for carpet backing needs.  They are Nantex 237Dx1 and Nantex 277S.  Nantex 237Dx1 is the soft type while Nantex 277S is the hard type.  They can be solely or blended freely to arrive at your desired hardness.
